In the summer months, I coach girls as young as 12 and as old as 18 to develop their skills, fundamentals and techniques in order to become a better volleyball player. While doing this, I have helped the realize that there is more in this world beside the sport you play and that life lessons can be learned on and off the court everyday.

The 2015 National State Games of America was held in Lincoln and Omaha. As a student in the College of Journalism, I got to work first hand with those involved in making the event possible. By doing so, my classmates and I were handed some projects to complete before, during and after the competitions. Personally, I was the go-to for any graphics that needed to be completed throughout the competition.
