Significant Accomplishments:•Contributing member of internal tech lead group that discussed cross cutting concerns and changes for migrating our tech stack to a new design/technology stack. Responsible for the development and testing of VeriStand, a Hardware-in the-Loop testing program designed to enable quick prototyping and real-time testing of individual components without their integrated environment. Implement imaginative solutions across a chain of platforms and languages to enable industries in control, composite, and test cells to safely and efficiently test their products. Significant Accomplishments-• Implemented proof of concept refactor of c binary to utilize internal OS agnostic libraries to quickly build for multiple real-time targets/OS with minimal changes.• Supervised a summer intern on projects to port additional binaries internal to the VeriStand Engine to target new 64-bit Linux RT target.• Developed, tested and guided new interface designed to replace the Veristand HMI toward an early access demo and release. The goal of this project is to completely re-architect the user interface using c# and .NET 4.5, correcting design flaws while maintaining feature parity with our previous interface and allowing for a cleaner and more intuitive editing/operating experience. • Investigated and implemented binary serialization design for Stimulus Profile Editor dataspaces. Solved issue by profiling memory usage to pinpoint issues and developed new design that avoided unnecessary copying and increased our filesize support >5000%.

Responsible for the development and testing of MathScript RT Module, a textual math compiler integrated into the LabVIEW environment. • Managed Linux and Mac build machines and completed quality checklists for MathScript releases.• Enhanced MathScript Compiler with accelerated edit and run-time compilation for ordinary differential equations when using user defined functions. This allowed us to support the functions on RT systems and dropped the run-time from 10 mins to 5 secs. • Developed test for distributed test farm to test ideas on improving compiler load time performance. This helped narrow down a large bottleneck in our load time and saved us from chasing small gains.• Reviewed third party text editor applications and made recommendation for licensing purchase. Integrated that tool into the MathScript Window user interface.
