Current• Plan, perform and manage audit, review and compilation engagements• Prepare annual audit, review and compilation reports• Review and evaluate the work of junior or senior accountants• Develop and communicate recommendations to clients on how to improve their operations and internal control systems• Perform financial and industry data analysis to assist directors in special consulting engagements such as due diligence initiatives, profitability consulting, business valuations, forecasting, estate and financial planning • Serve as temporary controller for clients• Provide computer and accounting supports for client personnel• Prepare corporate, partnership, nonprofit organization, individual, estate and trust tax returns• Conduct complex accounting and tax researches• Represent clients in correspondence with IRS, U.S. Tax Court and State Department of Revenue• Perform periodic inspections of reports, financial statements and workpapers as a part of the firm's system monitoring process• Train newly-hired employees and interns• Actively market the firm
