About Kadir Yücel
In 2020, I started my education in the fully funded and 100% English Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at Istinye University, where I continue as the top student in my department with a GPA of 3.49. During my university preparation period, I participated in R&D projects with a robotics team. In the following years, after working in the communication department for one year, I took on the role of UAV Team Captain for two years. During this time, I became a finalist in two TEKNOFEST UAV Competitions and gained experience through the US-SUAS Competition. Additionally, I participated in the High Altitude Rocket Competition as part of the Falcon Rocket Team at Marmara University, where I contributed to the coding of the ground control station software and the rocket's flight algorithm. I also served as the president of the Istinye Quantum Dynamics Student Club for two years, organizing various social events. Through these experiences, I have developed competencies in team management, planning, organization, budget management, crisis management, and problem-solving.In 2022, I worked as an ecosystem development assistant at the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Center (Istinye Garage Incubation Hub) at my university. In 2023, I spent 7 months, including a mandatory 20-day internship, working as a part-time embedded software engineer at Blitz Technology, a defense industry company. In 2024, I completed my second mandatory internship at IDEALAB R&D Company as a intern electronics engineer. Additionally, I am actively volunteering as an external news editor for the Defence Turk news site, where I write about defense industry developments in foreign countries.I believe my drive and eagerness to learn, coupled with my experiences, put me ahead in the industry. I am continuously striving to further elevate both my academic and industry-related competencies.
