I am teaching a wide range of courses in core computer sciences sciences (operating systems, algorithms, programming languages, Networking,..) and special topics in programming languages (DLL, Sockets, Threading, Design Patterns,...). I am also supervising many students on their final practicum and internship.
I'm teaching Introduction to formal languagesI'm also in charge of the Algorithmic and data structure course
I developed an optimized user classification model for inhabitant recognition in smart houses. The data were collected from non-intrusive sensors. The results were published in peer review journals and conferences.
I am collaborating with different researchers at Telecom SudParis to explore the security access to pervasive environments in order to increase the safety of smart homes. In this project we assume that only non-intrusive sensors are used in our smart environments.
I extended the model, that I developed during my master, to evaluate any pervasive environments. I proposed a formal mechanism for identifying the user’s limitations. The model uses a reasoning engine. It provides a set of environment’s obstacles which are used to structure the personalization process. I used ontologies, based on Description Logic and OWL, to express domain knowledge and enable knowledge reuse and sharing. The experiments were conducted in lab condition with real users. The results were published in referred conferences and journals.
I developed an accessibility evaluation model for input devices for people with special needs. The model was validated with physicians, psychologists, ergonomists and occupational therapists involving, on one hand, people with motor disabilities (users mainly having spinal-cord injuries and muscular dystrophies) from Garches Hospital (France) and the communication center of the AFM (French Muscular dystrophies Association) , and, on the other hand, people with cognitive disorders (Alzheimer, Parkinson and MCI) from the Broca Hospital in Paris . The results were published in the famous conferences HCI, ICOST and UM05.
