About Kadus Smith

As the Community Program Lead at Argyle Community Trust, I have over seven years of experience in developing and implementing bespoke personal support programmes for young people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). I have a BTEC in Business Studies and a passion for creating positive social change through the power of football and Plymouth Argyle FC.I work with key local partners, such as Devon and Cornwall Police and Plymouth Youth Offending Team, to integrate our mentoring programme into localised partnerships and to challenge alarming statistics that link ACEs with a future of crime and anti-social behaviour. I also lead on the equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) agenda within the Trust, ensuring that we are an active, inspirational, and inclusive community hub for the South West region. I have strong skills in partnerships, mental health, and influence at all levels, and I enjoy working with open-minded and driven individuals who share our vision and values.
