Coordinate and plan logistics and communications for our premier entrepreneurial training programs, Venture School, Hawkeye Startup Accelerator, NSF I-Corps Faculty Innovators workshop, Business Consulting and Iowa Innovative Associates.Venture School is an innovative training program focused on real-world experimentation, customer discovery, and Lean LaunchPad methodologies. This program is offered state wide and allows Iowa entrepreneurs to reap its benefits. Works for startups, small businesses, non-profits, and corporate innovative teams. Along with our community programs I also work with student entrepreneurs in our incubator here at the University of Iowa. Our Hawkeye Startup Accelerator is an 11-week summer program, where student startups work hard to validate and excel their business idea through customer discovery, business model canvas training, weekly pitches, and work sessions with experienced mentors.

-­Helped organize and plan three major events for the Festival including Balloon Glow, Freedom Parade, Tribute to Heroes Dinner, and Imagination Square, and Lego Extravaganza.-­Organized 100 parade entry forms and positioned entries in their locations for parade (dealt with all contact and issues concerning the parade)-­Answer calls and emails for all issues and questions concerning our festival-­Coordinated 200 volunteers to their jobs and tasks they were in charge of for 5 different events throughout the festival for two years-­Fund-raised $4,000 in car raffle tickets for the Freedom Festival-­Did live media interviews for our events such as Balloon Glow and our July 4th celebration

I have worked in several departments within the Patient Financial Services office; Patient Access Management, Patient Billing Services, and Payment Posting/Processing.Within these departments I have completed the following tasks on a daily or weekly basis. - Print and send patient medical records to insurance companies.- Populate spreadsheets for full-time staff members.- Post payments, denials, and refunds into healthcare systems.- Scan documents into appropriate healthcare systems.- Work the Reception Desk by answering phone calls and guiding visitors.- Mail claims daily, in compliance with HIPPA standards, to appropriate insurance companies. - Work in healthcare program such as Epic and GE Centricity on a daily basis. - Identify trends and/or work processes for potential work efficiencies.
