- Provide individual therapy sessions: Create a safe, affirming space for clients to express their emotions through art, especially about gender identity, sexual orientation, and other LGBTQ+ issues.- Facilitate group therapy: Use art-based activities to foster group discussion, self-expression, and mutual support among group members.- Case documentation and record keeping: Document client participation and outcomes for individual and group sessions, while ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.- Client Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct assessments of clients to determine their therapeutic needs, including art therapy assessments. Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate art therapy into broader therapeutic approaches.- Collaboration with a Multidisciplinary Team- Outreach and Education: Develop and deliver inservice to promote the benefits of art therapy and group therapy.
