I am a tested trial and appellate lawyer. I represent plaintiffs in a variety of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases involving civil rights violations, medical malpractice, serious car and trucking accidents, and sexual abuse. I was recognized as a member of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2024 by Columbus Business First.Prior to joining Cooper Elliott, I clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. I also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Law Journal while I was in law school.Before becoming a lawyer, I had a decade-long education career in high-poverty schools and neighborhoods. My experiences taught me how to fight for individuals and communities that face inequitable systems.
