During my undergraduate work at Virginia Tech, and master's program through Liberty University, I worked in many fields that integrate mental health skill building. I worked with young children and adolescents with developmental/ learning struggles through behavioral analysis, adults needing skill building from traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, and currently adults seeking long-term care in addiction recovery and mental health services.I have always had a passion for helping individuals accentuate their skills and passions in life. On top of my passion for working directly with individuals who are suffering from life set backs, I also see the need to present these available services to people who may not know they exist through out reach. I have become similarly interested in spreading advocacy to end negative stigmas by working in networking, marketing, and development of these types of mental health programs. Using my knowledge of behavior, through a data-driven lens, allows me expand my psychological background not only to mental health services, but also to world of marketing and design. One of the best ways for me to use my interpersonal communication is to engage and interact with people through online communities and local partners. In the future, I hope to expand my experience not just in the field of mental health, but anywhere else it might be needed!!
