As an IT professional with a background in political communication, I can recognize the importance of communication from an IT point of view as well. Not only do you need to spread your message, it is important this message reaches your audience and is understood. Especially in an environment in which IT supports the business in its operations. Just as crucial are the platforms for communication that we provide. This also explains my interest in the M365 environment, as it synthesizes communication and collaboration in the company. My academic background also helped me work in a well structured and documented manner. My experience at Makro/Metro Belgium has also increased my technical and problem solving knowledge. In Sligro Food Group I've deepened my knowledge of Microsoft 365, resulting in several certifications. I will keep learning every day. This is a major aspect of why IT is such an interesting profession to me, the learning never stops, and every day brings a new challenge. In my own time I'm still very passionately following current (and historical) world events.
