I am a junior at Indiana University Bloomington, and I am interested in pursuing a career in Marketing with co-major in Digital and Social Media Business Applications and a minor in Psychology. I view myself as adaptable, curious, and committed, and I plan to use these skills to help me achieve a graduate degree in business.One way I have prioritized adaptability in my life is specifically on a trip I took a couple of summers ago to Europe. The way the locals lived was different from the way that I was used to, so I had to adapt to the changing environment and become more versatile. Through this, I got to learn about other people and their cultures.Curiosity drives me, but one example of this is in politics. Especially during the 2020 election, I became very curious and inquisitive. I wanted to learn more about current politics. I did research including reading articles, watching debates, and watching the news. This curiosity led me to become a more educated and well-rounded person.I am also very committed; one way I showed this was when I wanted to become the Valedictorian of my senior class. I was extremely dedicated to school. I worked hard to get good grades and to stay on top of my schoolwork, which helped me learn time management skills. This commitment and time management paid off because I got to learn that hard work leads to learning and hopefully success.
