Mokulua Contracting is a landscaping, construction and cleaning services company that primarily services the Ko Olina Resort and Marina. • Led daily operations of a company with $2.8M in annual revenue, 6 managers and 65 employees.• Controlled accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements ensuring a strong and consistent cash flow to support commercial expansion.• Established Ho’ala Landscape and Maintenance, a DBA, to expand to the commercial market, increasing revenue by 2.5% in the first year.• Spearheaded PR/Marketing campaign that increased consumer awareness of the company, which led to three new recurring contracts in one year.

Tikis is a locally owned and operated premier Restaurant and Bar in Waikiki. Started as Floor Manager, promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2005 and promoted to General Manager in 2006.• Led daily operations of a 10,000 square foot restaurant with $10M in annual sales and 183 employees.• Controlled financial analysis and reporting of daily operations, maintenance of company cash flows and income statements.• Increased net profit from 4% to slightly less than 5% in less than a year through sound cost control and training.• Designed and implemented training program for the entire restaurant, as well as a management-in-training program, solely responsible for growth of management bench strength.• Influential in developing and opening second Waikiki restaurant, Holokai Grill.• As Assistant GM, solely responsible for increasing bar revenue contribution from 27% to 32% of sales through raising expectations for the bar team, reduced pouring costs 25% to 21% over a span of six months, staff incentives and education supported the reduction.• As Floor Manager, developed and led safety committee earning $50K premium reduction.
