Currently responsible for overseeing operations and for actively managing operational and financial risks. Also provide operational and knowledge leadership, guidance and feedback to the team in performing its daily activities and ensuring coherent functioning and communication across operational sites. I also take part in policy work and operations conducted across the money market and bond trading desks, which focus on implementing monetary policy, acquiring assets for the Bank’s balance sheet, supporting the functioning of the Government of Canada domestic bond market, and executing the federal government’s debt strategy. Previously developed policy and provided quantitative analysis as a debt manager for the Government of Canada. Work included leading the development and writing of domestic debt management strategies, as well as the issuance of the Government's 50-year ultra-long bond.
