Kafayat is a well-trained mathematician, researcher, and educationist. Her interest is based on effective teaching where she gives an effective class opener to mathematics contents and also introduces topics using multiple representations relating to real-life problems. She makes mathematics more interesting to teach and learn. She is a member of the Mathematics Association of Nigeria( MAN) and also Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has taught Mathematics at different levels at public and private schools. She is presently a Mathematics teacher at Lagos State Teaching Service Commission. She graduated from Lagos State University with a Bachelor's degree in Science in Mathematics Education with a Second Class Upper Division ( 78%). She also obtained her master's degree in Mathematics Education and researched on Teachers' Utterances in lesson delivery and their effect on Secondary School Students' performance in Mathematics.Kafayat is also a Data Scientist. She is proficient in the use of Python ( Numpy, Pandas & Matplotlib) in analyzing and visualizing data. She is also skilled in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Java.
