She also runs the Commercial Real Estate practice inclusive of Economic Development, Chamber, Construction and supporting industries.Fortified with extensive background in a variety of industries, Karen led new economic development efforts at Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation. She previously directed national marketing and new business efforts at Duke Realty Corporation and Duke Construction.Karen is currently the Chair of Redwood, a Northern Kentucky based organization that guides children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities to achieve independence and reach their highest potential. She is a Board member of Bad Girl Ventures (BGV) with a focus on creating opportunities for female entrepreneurs through education and by providing access to capital and the Northern Kentucky Education Council. She is also active with Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC). Karen was named ”Professional Woman to Watch” (based on largest deals completed and innovative initiatives) by Cincinnati.com.
