My career has spanned over a myriad of hands-on experiences in all areas of engineering and manufacturing in multinational environments. I have had an opportunity to build considerable competencies in Supply Chain Management across all the operational elements of supply (i.e. Procurement, Logistics/Planning, Maintenance, Utilities, and Manufacturing). I have also built considerable experience in Supply Cost Management on a practical basis, and have been involved in driving employee engagement business-wide.I currently work as a Programme Manager for a Cost Reduction Strategy for Diageo (GH) PLC (Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd). It is a program designed in response to the rising cost of manufacturing in the sub region, and the need to safeguard business continuity by thinking innovatively to drive out costs to deliver cash. I am accountable for pulling together various projects to drive cost reduction across the operational elements of the supply chain and also track the savings from clearly spelt out cost reduction initiatives (around waste, maintenance, people cost, utilities, Environment, sourcing, planning and other conversion costs).
