Power Marketing & Asset Optimization - Directed Business Development efforts to execute Power Purchase Agreements, identify regulatory requirements and implement asset strategy to support the redevelopment for two 300 MW CCGT Power Plant. Achieved project financing for first project. Managed a team of 10 professionals plus outside contractors. - Developed business plan to sell CAIR NOx allowances in excess of the estimated amounts needed to meet annual CAIR NOx requirements. Negotiated and executed contracts. Sales were in excess of $2 million. - Asset Project Management - accountable for the financial and regulatory performance associated with the operation of the Power Assets. Implemented Business Systems (Regulatory, Financial, Settlements, Tolling Optimization) to measure and optimize Regulatory and Business Targets. Utilized the knowledge and experience among the team members (Trading, Regulatory, Legal, Finance) to identify System Requirements and Business Targets. Managed staff of ten professionals plus outside contractors.
