Assisted attorneys in Labor and Employment Division in representing the City of New York in federal and state court in litigation arising out of the City’s role as the employer of more than a quarter-million workers. Drafted portions of summary judgment motions and prepared research memoranda analyzing matters related to pending litigation and proposed workforce policies.

Drafted motions, briefs, and discovery documents for cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Composed legal research memoranda on various civil litigation matters, including employment discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the Rehabilitation Act, and the ADA, challenges to eligibility determinations for Social Security and Supplemental Security disability benefits, and certification issues for class-action litigation.
