I graduated from Ohio Northern University in 2009, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a minor in Philosophy.After graduation, I continued my education as a Pharmacy Resident at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. During this time, I developed an interest in Critical Care and Infectious Disease that has carried over to the rest of my professional career.In 2010, I took a position as Shared Faculty between NEOMED and Southwest General Hospital, a 350 bed community hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. At Southwest General, I am responsible for a 24-bed mixed ICU and also serve as the Residency Program Director for our PGY1 Residency Program.At NEOMED, I currently serve as the content director for the Critical Care Module and Course Director for electives in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, as well as Global Health.Outside of work, I am heavily engaged in Global Health—working with our local church to build a hospital and expand rural medical care in Ghana, west Africa.
