    DMRT was formed in the immediate aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010. DMRT sent its first team to Haiti one week after the earthquake hit and, over the course of nearly 3 months, DMRT personnel performed countless life-saving surgeries and limb-saving procedures, administered medications, and provided hope and comfort to the survivors. The team raised over $250,000 in cash, donations and medical supplies and sent 72 healthcare providers who provided care for over 4,000 patients.In 2015, DMRT re-mobilized to raise funds for the Nepal earthquake and sent 5 teams to Nepal providing care for more than 3,000 patients.
