A structured 3 months internship programme which rotates within different departments namely services, research and sales.In services department, I first understand the business and products of the company. Then, I was given the chance to gather hands on experience on site, for example the Yatch Hotel Cruise in Lumut, operation room of Gleneagles Hospital and Kuala Lumpur International Airport. After that, I was given the opportunity to supervise some of the smaller site work.In research department, I collected fungi and mold samples from site and carried out various test to ensure the efficiency of company products. Besides, I was involved in the development of new decontamination products.In sales department, I learnt to prepare and present the tender documents. At the same time, I have to conduct follow up meetings for new and existing customers.

This is a summer part time job in which I aimed to improve my soft skills and proficiency in Malay language. I was exposed to 2 weeks of intensive training to familiarize with Celcom products, such as prepaid, postpaid, data plan. In addition, I learnt how to communicate with customer according the standard manuscript.My main duty will be assisting customer with billing, network and server disruption issues with telephone calls. I was also assigned to manage the working schedule for my team members in order to ensure efficiency of the call center at peak seasons.I was adaptive towards the fast-pace and 24 hour shift working environment of the company.
