I started my academic life in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and diverted my focus into the Urban Design program during my master's degree. I am currently continuing my academic life in the Urban and Regional Planning PhD program on sustainable and smart cities. In the continuation, my main interest took form into drawing and creating spaces, habitats for different social groups. I developed this curiosity in my academic life by specializing in urban design and urban morphology. In order to try to explain the spatial configuration on these areas, I first shifted my interest to the Space Syntax method, and then I started to work on researching spaces in smart cities. The interior design of historical buildings and their relationship with their environment, and the explanation of urban space design at a lower scale using mathematical methods are the main subjects I want to work on, and I am trying to produce research in this context. My interest in numerical methods and mathematical software contributed my computer literacy and program knowledge. I am an adaptable team member and task man who started and continues his academic life at Istanbul Technical University. I had the chance to include and develop these features in university conditions abroad.
