Senior Finance Executive
CurrentTo assist in financial reporting encompassing monthly financial reporting, statutory financial reporting to Bursa and year-end audits of HSCB Group of companies.To assist in review and translation of foreign subsidiaries’ accounts to RM reporting.To assist in the review of associates accounts and equity accounting.To assist in the consolidation of monthly group accounts.To assist in quarterly disclosure to Bursa on provision of Financial Assistance (Credit Financing).To assist in other quarterly and year-end statutory reporting.To assist in Group monthly cash flow forecast.To assist in liaising with divisional finance personnel to obtain clarification and information on divisional accounts.To assist in all financial analysis for monthly, quarterly and yearly group accounts.To assist in other adhoc assignments such as Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), Survey of Outward Foreign Affiliates (SOFA), Recurrent Related Party Transaction (RRPT), etc.Liaise with external auditors and provide information and documents required for audit purposes.July 2023 onwards:To assist in the preparation of Group Business Plan includes templates for all divisions, Statements of Profit or Loss, Statements of Financial Position, Statements of Cash Flows and Consolidated Adjustment;To assist in the preparation of Bases and Assumptions in Business Plan based on submission from all divisions for the purpose of Group review; - To understand the nature of the bases on revenue, COS and OPEX to avoid over/under-stated; - Review submission via sanity checks on significant movement and highlight comments to accountantTo assist in the preparation of Group Business Plan analysis with Last Year Actual and Current Year Forecast for meaningful comparison and presentation deck for Board Approval.To assist in the preparation of Mid-Year Review Forecast to re-access the performance of Group whether on track, identify gaps for improvement or corrective action when necessary.
