Lead engineer process at HRV Oil & Gas, a consulting company with emphasis on providing EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management) services to the oil and gas industry. Design of a gas plant for training of how to combat gas fires, communication, evacuating etc. during a gas fire. Study of Nyhamna gas processing plant. Study of Norsok- and API-standards.

Design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) systems for a wide range of projects including among other: a district heating plant, a transformer station, a shopping mall, office building, extension of Statoil canteen at Tjeldbergodden, parish house, car wash hall, kindergarten, schools, nursing homes. Design of natural gas lines at Gossen, Aukra municipality.

Responsible for teaching the following courses: Introduction to oil and gas technology, Transport- and inventory technology, International transports and distribution. Author of the textbook “Introduction to oil- and gas technology” (in Norwegian), Tapir publishing, Trondheim, 2006.

Development of course of study of bachelor of mechanical engineering in a demanding start-up phase. I taught the courses Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Fluid mechanics and Technical drawing. Training of staff and development of laboratories at department of mechanical engineering. Guidance of student projects.

Design and follow-up on site of heat transfer equipment (Norw. “inndampere”) for Norwegian dairies (“Norske meierier”).
