I work part time here as a lifeguard while studying sports science degree. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and love working as part of a team supporting members of the public, offering such a vital service.

I carried out work experience placement here, and it was extremely beneficial for me to gain invaluable knowledge and insight into the boxing industry and boxing gyms. It was a great experience to see how they are managed and what the process involves in running a boxing organisation and the work it entails.

My role here was a varied one, and gave me an insight into the theatre world. I worked front of house in ticketing sales, assisting the lighting technician, as well as stage set prep and production. This was my first paid job which I returned to after having a work placement/youth training programme there while at sixth form.
