I am working on the Serrano Solar Project in Marana, Arizona. As a PE, I am providing construction management services related to the engineering, procurement and construction of Owner’s proposed solar-powered electricity generating and energy storage facility. The Serrano Solar energy and storage project will have the capacity of approximately 220 MWdc solar and 1181 MWh storage.

At Balfour and Beatty, I had the opportunity to learn about many facets within the construction industry. By providing construction management and general contracting services for the Federal Reserve Board, our goal was to modernize their two historic buildings by making them more energy efficient, and adding capacity.Project: Eccles/1951 Federal Reserve Board - $1.2 Billion • Wrote RFI’s to clarify and solve problems between architect/engineers and subcontractor/project managers. • Reviewed Submittals that analyze product data to ensure proper materials are being used on site.• Reviewed Architectural plans to compare and contrast with construction work being done on-site. • Prepared take-off counts and cost estimates for basic materials. • Planned and conducted meetings with subcontractors and the city to ensure proper work is being done, standards are being met, and to gather permits for construction.

Stevenson Construction is an upscale residential construction firm based out of Lafayette, Ca. Working closely under the General Contractor, I spent everyday in the field working on site. Our project was a $500,000 full house remodel. I've helped on all stages of demolition, foundation, and framing of the house, as well as communicated with subcontractors.

I made, stocked and prepared food, as well as sanitized and organized the store to follow Covid regulations. My favorite part about working at the coffeebar was developing authentic relationships with customers to create a vibrant community where people enjoy relaxing, talking, and working.
