Deputy Director For Resource Development
CurrentServes as a member of the Executive Team that oversees the organization, providing insight and strategic direction related to philanthropy and organizational development as a critical part of URGE’s mission.Leads the Development and Data Department, managing a team of four to drive organizational fundraising strategies.Grew URGE’s annual budget from $900k in 2013 to $11.5M in 2024 through the development and execution of a diverse annual fund development strategy aligned with fiscal goals and organizational mission.Secured grants from $5k to $5M - building and managing a diverse portfolio of 25-30 foundations.Directs grant proposal and report preparation, collaborating with cross-departmental staff to secure pivotal funding for key programs.Supervises major and individual donor programs, strengthening donor relationships and fostering an inclusive fundraising culture.Partners with the Executive Director to represent URGE to funders, external groups, and organizations.Guides the Executive Director in high-value activities for new revenue generation.Provides leadership to the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies which assist in the acquisition of funding.Mentors staff to collaborate and achieve fund development goals.
