Working scope: - Synthesis of primary, secondary and tertiary amines and amine-reactive nano-particles for polyurea and polyurethane, formulation and production of polyurea compounds and "ready-to-use" systems. - Toll production / blending and private labelling for other construction chemical companies; application and (polyurea) project consulting. - Engineering and construction of two-component dispensing equipment for foam and coatings also for special applications such as internal pipes, shafts/manholes or anti-slip floors (granules as third component) and FRP. - Concepts for special coating solutions for corrosive, abrasive, fouling, oil & gas or sewage environments based on unique, patented polymer backbones.- Formulation and additive selection, especially amine and metal-based catalysts, for rigid and flexible PU foams as well as CASE applications.Latest development project work: 1. 'Isocyanate-free' urethanes especially for rigid foam and CASE applications (looking ahead to possible restrictions on the use of diisocyanates by ECHA in certain markets / applications)2. Chemical recycling / upcycling of PU production waste and post-consumer rigid and flexible foams; current scale 8 ton batches for PU / polyurea formulations (up to 65% recycling based)3. DBTDL / tin(IV) replacements in CASE (aromatic and aliphatic) and foam (rigid and flexible) applications with focus on synergetic catalysis / multicatalysis 4. Solvent-free, 100% solid, highly dense, transparent, hydrophobic, two-component systems based on modified thiourethanes used for laminates and scratch-resistant functional coatings

Setup of a new sales and service organization for Glascraft Inc. with focus on the DACH region. The product range included dispensing equipment for polyurethane spray and moulded foams, polyurea spray and injection systems, packaging foam as well as FRP composites.The cooperation also covered the equipment modification for new applications, joint development of new spray equipment and application technology. Experimental development work on CASE systems (polyurethanes, epoxy and polyurea) besides PU foams (rigid and flexible), joint project development with customers for various applications incl. hygienic coatings, insulation / appliance foams, VOC reduction in automotive interiors, spray coatings for oil and gas industries.Work for UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) with focus on sustainability (replacing CFC / HCFC based blowing agents) e.g. in P.R. China at Wanhua in 09/2000.

Initially sales, later also international marketing and business development for amine and metal-based catalysts, surfactants and further additives for the polyurethane industry and amines / amine compounds to the new developing polyurea market with focus on ASEAN and NAFTA regions. Polyurea market expansion and various publications on polyurea technology. International brand awareness development for PC, PC AMINE, PC CAT and Nitroil trademarks.
