Diversity, connection and passion are my words to live by. I was born in Changchun, a city famous for being one of China’s cornerstones of the Chinese film industry. It is in this ambitious city where I grew up surrounded by Korean, Japanese and Russian influences, and it is here where my appreciation for the diversity found its roots. These roots grew into a desire for worldliness and later on, I backpacked around Australia for two incredible years. After achieving many personal accomplishments, I found an appreciation for being different and dancing to the beat of my own drum, something only possible after experiencing different cultures from all over the world. To be your best self, being open-minded and diverse in thought is the priority. As well as diversity, the world is about connection. Wildly creative thinkers share ideas and insights by resonating with people. I thrive in in such social settings. My experience in communication includes public speaking, social media, networking, and brainstorming. Outside of work, I was inspired to organize an international badminton association “ELB” in Shenzhen. I believe that people need to connect, and perspectives should be exchanged, and so I was driven to enhance the connection between local Chinese people and expats in China. Proudly, the group boasts more than 500 people today, and through the passion of sport, deep friendships and understanding have been born. Also passionate, Brené Brown once said “Where others approach life half-heartedly, wholehearted people have the courage to bring their full selves to the table despite the risks and uncertainty.” These words guided me as I worked in giant and hugely respected internet companies. Past positions include; Key Account Manager and Marketing Activities Organiser. Possessing strong global communication skills in English, both verbal and written, I excel in sophisticated and strategic selling, negotiation and relationship management. My passion extends to writing, photography and vlogging. In fact, I created an official Wechat account to publish my articles both in Chinese and English. I also published a 30th birthday celebration video, the first year in Australia video, involving my friends from different countries on my Youtube channel. My photography work has been posted on a New York local media instagram.Inspired by Brown’s words, I am trying to build up a wholehearted life by cultivating things I have a passion for. And as I acknowledge the unique qualities of myself, I can continue connecting people together in this diverse world.
