Training & Development

- Partnered with managers, senior managers, directors and VPs to determine specialized training needs for each department.- Evaluated and engaged relevant external vendors for staff training; where applicable, created and developed training materials.- Managed annual training budgets and allowances.- Updated job descriptions, organisational charts, competency matrices, general operating guidelines, handbooks.- Conducted annual team member surveys to improve team member's experience in the workplace.- Planned and spearheaded staff gatherings and engagement events for over 300 team members.- Functioned as Editor-in-chief in the BU newsletter where I determined its content (upon approval from VP), wrote several features and articles and guided other writers to meet content expectations and deadlines.- Initiated and liaised with BU HODs and HR support staff on student attachment programmes with local polytechnics.
