I supported 3 council officers; Domestic Energy, Business Energy, and Climate Action. Climate Action- Curated 4 webinars including "An Introduction to Green Jobs", "Your Mental Health and Volunteering in Local Green Spaces" in which I part presented, and "Low Waste Holiday Season" and "Ealing's Road to COP26". - Supported the comms team with climate, environmental, and local events, with updates from the Climate Action Team. Furthermore, I created written pieces for the comms team to publish including a piece on "The History of Allotmentments and their link to community activism". - Designed climate-positive tasks for councilors to perform as part of a social media campaign to build momentum for COP26. - Designed a database to catalog Ealing's Local Schools climate positive activity.Domestic Energy- Worked closely with the principal officer Tania Jennings on EnergieSprong and Green Homes Grant projects - Researched and designed leaflets on various domestic energy-saving measures- Engaged over 150 housing associations on upcoming grant funding for retrofitting. Created a database of the stakeholder contact information and project interest .34+ were successfully engaged. - Designed and delivered surveys on energy. - Achieved my National Energy Saving (NEA) Certificate and I am trained in communicating the importance of affordable warmth.Business Energy- Supported the officer in updating the business energy databases.- Gained experience in business GHG reporting and working with emissions databases.
