Innovation Workshop is a company top down program with purpose to foster innovation as the entire industry is shifting towards Cloud and Mobile computing. The program encourages talents to start their own business by leveraging support from Trend Micro. This includes but not limited to talents, funding, accounting services, legal services, HR, and office facilities, etc. Trend Micro operates like an angel investor.As a result, 20% site engineers join this program for 27 projects, 9 projects graduated, 5 got company innovation points and 2 projects got company award, 4 patent proposal submitted with 1 filed.趋势科技创新工作坊是公司顶层设计推广的旨在激励内部创新的项目。项目鼓励员工基于个人创新和公司资源启动内部创业。作为该项目负责人，推动研发中心20%工程师参与其中，产生27个项目，其中9个获得通过，5个获得资助，2个得到公司级奖励。同时提交了4项专利并有一项已经通过。
