I am working in Ansys as a sensor engineer, focusing on lidar simulation, sensor impact on sensors, and lidar signal processing.I graduated as a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering of ASU, with interdisciplinary and in-depth knowledge in perception using deep learning and computer vision, lidar system simulation, and lidar system development.Focuses:(1) Lidar hardware design:- Prototype lidar design and system characterization for autonomous vehicle using off-the-shelf components. - Development of signal processing algorithms (C/C++) for calibration, error/noise compensation of TDC-based and ADC-based lidar system.(2) Lidar system simulation- Established a lidar model in Unity using cameras and shaders,- Embedded the physics-based error model to the Unity-based lidar model, which generates point clouds with physics-based noises.(3) Point-clouds and image processing using deep learning techniques- familiar with state-of-art point cloud processing networks, PointNet, PointNet++, and image processing networks: Faster RCNN, SSD, YOLO etc.- developed novel point clouds classification and segmentation algorithms.- implemented computer-vision-based and deep-learning based algorithms for vehicle and lane-line detection, and street-pixel separation.
