That work saved Highpoint 7% in printing costs within the first year. I was responsible for handling customer quotes, designing patterns, printing Epson proofs, as well as conducting press checks. In addition, I contributed to expanding Highpoint's retail catalogue, adding over 300 custom designs year-over-year. I also helped launch Highpoint's Digitial Wraps program. With a partner printer, we worked to provide on-demand, eCommerce driven gift wrap, without the high minimums and printing limitations of flexographic printing. Some of my responsibilities were:- Design and proof for multiple rounds to ensure customer satisfaction- Preparation and pre-press for flexographic printing- Conduct press checks and adjust on the fly with a sometime's fickle printing process- Work to stay on top of industry trends and lead in markets where we have share- Analyze print efficiency (more rolls for less money) and identifying waste as part of my efforts to reduce our printing costs -
