I have been working with Connect4Climate at the World Bank since late 2016 and my tasks include:- writing, directing, shooting, & editing short form video content amplifying youth voices and promoting climate knowledge, including short-turnaround edits to produce videos within 24-48hrs; - interviewing high-level speakers at international climate events and film festivals;- enhancing and expanding engagement with global youth climate movement, including through support to international events like the Youth4Climate summit and managing the production of youth-focused content such as the #Youth4ClimateLive series;- developing and implementing advocacy campaigns and creative competitions, such as the #WorldIsWatching campaign and New Blood Awards Sport4Climate advertising competition; - leading social media & design teams in shaping brand, editorial calendars, & social media packages; - supporting management with long-term strategy, M&E frameworks, annual reports, & talking points; - collaborating with wide range of international partners from UN agencies & global NGOs.

Recent ProjectsStamp Our Story (Co-Director, Co-Producer, Editor): Released in 2022, this short documentary is about the grassroots campaign led by three Nisei women to honor Japanese American WWII soldiers with a USPS stamp; currently playing at festivals.Fugetsu-Do (Director, Producer, Editor): Official selection at 70+ film festivals winning 20+ awards, this 12-min documentary tells the story of a 3rd generation family-owned Japanese sweet shop that has become a memory bank for the Little Tokyo community in LA.Climate Countdown (Director, Producer, Editor): Over two seasons, this award-winning web-series maps out the ecology of climate solutions, screening at dozens of film festivals internationally and used for educational purposes.The Hafiz Project: Brilliance of Your Own Being (Performer, Co-Editor, Co-Director): Created by Eric Mann and Unreel Films, this short film was filmed during the Great American Eclipse in the Grand Tetons and visualizes the words of Hafiz's poem "The Brilliance of Your Own Being."
