Sub-research group investigating neuromorphic deep learning models created by Dr. Jason Eshraghian. His research interests include neuromorphic computing, spiking neural networks, and memory circuits, and he is the developer of snnTorch, a widely used Python library used to train and model spiking neural networks.

Working with the Social Emotional Technology Lab to use technology and wearable microbots to further STEM education as well as social-emotional learning. Also researching virtual reality and alternative reality as a tool for reflection and introspection.

I started this project in junior high after noticing how my parents' and peers screen usage was affecting my relationships with them. Junior year of high school, I conducted a double-blind study on my classmates. Senior year, I was asked to work with The Center for Humane Technology, (who produced the Social Dilemma), to help develop the screentime feature for Apple products. My Devices Divide podcast and website have thousands of viewers and listeners in over 50 countries.

Dream Farm Mushrooms grow mushrooms for food and wellness, create tinctures and teas, offer workshops on growing gourmet mushrooms, host events, and engage in research. I built greenhouses, grew mushrooms, worked in the lab doing spore research, designed marketing strategy, sold products, managed budgets, wrote grant applications, and helped lead community education workshops.

I worked the front desk at the climbing gym and the rental shop. I wrote curriculum for and taught beginning-advanced classes and trips. I helped students, faculty, and community members rent appropriate gear. I organized, packed for, and instructed hiking, sea kayaking, climbing, skiing, and ecology multi-day trips.

I managed a team that provided dock-side kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals. I guided ecological and historical tours of the SF Bay by kayak, assisted in advanced kayak skills classes, and helped in SeaTrek's office.

UC Berkeley's Girls in Engineering started in 2014 to address the gender disparity and lack of diversity in engineering and other STEM fields. A project-based program, GiE uses experiential learning focused on design thinking and creative problem-solving. Each session, I led one of our six teams each consisting of seven curious middle-school girls, often whom were underrepresented and faced access issues with STEAM fields. I helped write curriculum, and facilitated workshops from robot building to problem-solving gray water reuse. I also coordinated visits with female engineering professors.

At GirlVentures, I dedicated my time to teaching rock climbing to inner-city self-identifying girls, both in indoor gym settings and outdoor environments. This role involved not only instructing in the technical aspects of climbing but also fostering a supportive and empowering atmosphere for the participants. Additionally, I took the initiative to create and manage a new gear room and rental system, which included responsibilities like bookkeeping, organizational structuring, and overall management of the equipment

During a specialized research course, I spearheaded a significant study examining stress responses among high school students related to technology and social media usage. The insights gained from this research were recognized and utilized by notable organizations, including the Center for Humane Technology, Screenagers, Common Sense Media, and Marin Academy. This project underscored the impact of digital media on youth well-being and contributed valuable data to the field.

Served as a counselor at Camp Winnarainbow, a leading circus and performing arts summer camp in Northern California, renowned for its emphasis on artistic expression, community building, and social awareness. Each session, I was responsible for overseeing the well-being and development of campers. My role involved assisting campers in addressing complex social, emotional, and health-related challenges. Additionally, I provided instruction in unique skills such as unicycle riding, including off-road and trick cycling, as well as aerial arts like silks and trapeze, fostering confidence and physical coordination among the campers.
