In my role as a Full Stack Engineer, I work in a hybrid environment with a small, distributed team across Australia and Europe.My primary focus is on developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript, running as serverless lambdas or containerized instances, complemented by infrastructure management through Terraform and various AWS services. I have been responsible for the architectural design and implementation of three new microservices. This role involved guiding the project from a technical perspective, delegating tasks to internal staff and external contractors, and ensuring alignment with business requirements for timely delivery.Additionally, I have collaborated with our security team to configure firewall rules and adhere to OWASP best practices. I conducted internal penetration and load tests with tools like ZAP Proxy to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
