18 years ago I was at a crossroads and I had to make a decision... whether to go to school, to be thrown into the corporate world, or to go to school to learn about people and myself. I decided that if I learn about people and myself first, it might help me do better in the corporate world and to learn how to work with other people and different personality types. So I went to massage school and eventually esthetics school, instead of real estate school, and I have learned so much about people and relationships, and especially about myself. I have learned humbleness, humility and the meaning of hard work. I am definitely in the people business. About 8 years ago, I decided it was time to finally take all that I have learned over the last decade, and take a chance and make a change. Today, I help people to become homeowners and help to protect what they've built financially. I remember how tough and how much work it was to purchase and build our own home. Although we did a lot of the work, we had a lot of help. I also worked for a mortgage lender for a short time, just so I could learn the process of it. I learned so much from her as well, and we are still friends today. Financial education has always been my goal, and now I share what I have learned over the years with others. As a financial education instructor, I educate clients about finance management, which can help them build credit and their savings for their down payment on their home, in turn helping them live a more financially free lifestyle.
