Hello! I’m Kai. I am a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Toronto, studying as a Schulich Leader Scholar.I am super passionate about sustainability and aviation. Over the past few years, I have gained technical and leadership experience, adapting to new roles and responsibilities. While maintaining a high academic standard, I have managed to take on various extracurricular endeavours.As the Flight Dynamics Lead with the University of Toronto Aerospace Team Unmanned Aerial Systems Division, I have developed my technical aerospace knowledge and competencies. I have taught myself about aircraft design from the ground up, while also practicing project management and leadership skills, directing our sub-team.Through past experiences in engineering and STEM education, I have honed several key soft-skill, such as communication and teamwork. Whether it be explaining a concept to a 5-year old, or to a professor, I have demonstrated my ability to breakdown and clearly explain a variety of ideas and concepts.I am eager to make a difference in the aviation industry, and to contribute to efforts in making aviation more sustainable and accessible, and I look forward to connecting with you!
