Pre K - Adult

I conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with Latino students and families, guiding them through the U.S. education system and addressing any questions related to the college application process.

My role involves teaching Latino students how to prepare for college as well as the educational/career pathways available to them.

Conducted a class called “Latino Voices” that guided Latino students in developing their storytelling skills, increasing communication, leadership, and literacy. Helped carry out lesson plans, as well as technological and logistical support for the course.

Assisted in a lab that ran a variety of behavioral experiments on learning, problem solving, and decision making. Obtained informed consent, provided basic instructions, and helped run software that implemented the experiments.

Helped diverse students with varying ranges of proficiency in Spanish language through challenging and stressful aspects of academic units.

Helped students improve their understanding of key concepts in statistics. Provided assistance on assignments as well as how to use R Studio, a programming software used for statistical computing.
