As the Digital Marketing Intern at SCM Marketing Solutions I work with both the SEO and social media teams. On a day-to-day basis you'll often see me writing content. I write our client's website pages, blog posts, social media posts, and newsletter articles. I am also learning the basics of search engine optimization and keyword research to use when developing the content and descriptions for search results. It has been a rewarding experience because I am learning so much about different elements of marketing online while experiencing what it is like to work in an agency setting. At Ardent Photography, I was hired on as the Social Media Intern. In that position, I focused mainly on blog content. I brainstormed various ideas for topics, researched information for content, and edited images to enhance the story. Over the course of my internship, I gradually became more involved with the photography aspect. I designed wedding and engagement albums, edited photos, and became the assistant wedding photographer for the past two seasons. • Brainstorm, create and publish creative weekly content on Wordpress and Blogger websites• Edit photos in Photoshop to enhance blog post content and express the story• Assist main photographer and capture photos at weddings throughout the season• Design wedding and engagement albums
