When the pandemic began to severely impact what was once my daily work routine, balancing a full time graphic design/marketing position and a part time position in social media marketing, I knew I needed to be proactive. However, in order to do so, I'd have to overcome one of the greatest fear we all face - failure. I took the leap and began to work part time as a self-employed freelance artist in addition to my existing graphic design position. To my remarkable surprise, it really took off rather quickly. With over 100 commission to date and countless exciting personal projects in the works, I will truly say that taking the leap and facing your fears truly can be so rewarding. While I may have many more miles to go in terms of establishing myself independently, I see only beauty and adventure on the horizon.
