I have extensive research experience in the theory of materials and their properties using first-principles methods. Such studies assist in developing a comprehensive understanding of the materials in use and identifying new innovative materials for the future. As a senior manager in OSRAM’s Innovation Management, I developed programs to collect new ideas, and monitor both internal and external technological developments to map innovative research activities for the future. I am currently a Fellow of the Electrochemical Society and a Technical Editor of the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology.
