As the Head of Global Technology Scouting, my main task was to collect, organize and disseminate novel innovative ideas for project development within OSRAM R&D department. It also involved semantic analysis of internal and external research documents and ideas to develop technology and knowledge landscape for the R& D management. Research and Development of luminescent materials for lighting application• Planned and built a metalorganic vapor phase reactor under a DOE grant• Studied electronic and luminescence processes in major commercial phosphor for lighting application• Investigated multiphoton phosphors for lighting applications• Investigated photonic band gap materials for incandescent lighting

Research on hyperfine interactions in atoms, molecules and solids using first principles methods and many-body theories.

Taught physics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and conducted research in molecular physics.
