Professionally engaged in trading and exports activities and a 3rd generation entrepreneur of local and an international business of fresh onions. From the start of my career, since 1991, I have been jointly managing the 90-year-old family enterprise in the name and style of Kanji Bhagwanji, Nashik (KBN) with its warehouse at India's largest onion market Lasalgaon, Saikheda and Dindori. Initially focussed on trading onions locally across Indian markets, from 1996 expanded KBN's business operations outside India with scope to provide better quality and services in the International market which includes the Far East countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China), Gulf Region (Qatar, Kuwait, UAE).I have been mentored and guided by my father Mr P.K.Thakkar who has entrepreneurial expertise of 50 years in trading, export/import, agriculture, real-estate and social welfare. I am fortunate that I am handling all these responsibilities jointly with him and my younger siblings.
