Involved in pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up of 5 MGD Sewage Treatment Plant, which included final purification by Reverse Osmosis plant, supplied by M/s Aquatech Systems Asia. Handled day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, devising & implementing plant improvement schemes to maximize water production.

Co-ordinated project activities to achieve established targets for setting up and commissioning of 5000 MT Ammonia Storage Facility.

Responsible for process trouble shooting, maintenance & materials planning of Formaldehyde Plant. Set up a hexa-methylene tetra amine plant in budgeted time and cost.Deputed to Project Department of Saudi Petrochemical Company as Project Engineer/Cost Control Engineer, MTBE & Polypropylene plants. Prepared/reviewed cost estimates of project proposals & cost reports for presentation to Management.

During technology selection process for setting up a Melamine plant - Prepared ITB document and cost estimate for Board approval.Co-ordinated commissioning activities of Nitro-phosphate plant.Finalized contract negotiations with M/s. Linde AG of Germany for setting up of a Purge gas recovery plant.As Group leader, carried out process calculations, prepared PFD, PID & equipment specs for scaling up an existing 50 kg/hr UNP fertilizer production facility to 24 TPD Pilot plant. Supervised construction of the pilot plant and start-up of the facility.Demonstrated full-scale production of zincated urea in existing 300 MTPD plant, using scrap equipment.

Worked in 1000 MTPD Snam Progetti Urea plant. Responsibilities included smooth, trouble-free operation of the plant to produce rated capacity at minimum cost of production. Training of operators in plant operation, handing over of equipment/vessels in a safe manner to maintenance department. Prepare shut-down lists and supervise annual/emergency shut-down maintenance activities. Introduce plant improvement schemes.

Snam Progetti Urea Plant Operation

Exposed to the operations conducted in various plants of a fertilizer complex. Worked in Technical Services for six months out of the total one & half year as management trainee.
