Dr. Kailas is on a constant quest to instill passion, creativity & a growth attitude within the student community, with the mantra "Apply Best Practices to ensure data security for Students, Stakeholders, and Faculty members."He has built niche expertise for over 18 years with 17 Publications to his name, 3 Books & Datasets each, 8 publications in International Conferences, 12 copyrights, He served as a Member of Board of Studies for MIT AOE college of Engineering, expert for Research Symposium organized by SGGS Nanded & resource person for many STTP/FDP/Workshops in various institutions.His strengths lie in the areas of Teaching & Research, IT & software, Mozilla Developer, Bug Identification on web Browser- Firefox, Developing add-on's & apps- Firefox & FirefoxOS, Data Security.In his current role as a Professor for the Department of Computer Engineering & a Certified Chief Information Security Officer at Vishwakarma University (VU), he implemented the ISO 27001 policy & managed Information Security Management Systems. More than 50 students received recognition from the government of India for reporting Critical Infrastructure under his guidance. He has also conducted more than 15 cyber security awareness workshops as Cyber Cell Coordinator.During his career journey, he has facilitated Penetration testing by reporting Security Flaws & Vulnerabilities in 100+ Government of India Web Applications & Published Exploits: https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/48605. He has also conducted various workshops for Mahesh Industrial Group (MIG) on Design Thinking & Innovation, workshops for Wisdom World Schools on Integration of Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for students of classes 9-10 (2021) & Critical Thinking workshop in collaboration with Binghamton for students of classes 8, 9 & 11 of Vishwakarma Vidyalaya (2021).He obtained his doctorate in 2014, from the School of Computing, National University, Singapore in the field of Ensuring Session Integrity in Browser Environment (thesis).
