I'm a person who has an eye, and obsessive nature, for detail. I find myself often focusing on the one aspect of my code that's not working, which is really annoying when you realize you just misplaced a single letter, variable, or function. It makes all the difference in the world, but still annoying. When I'm done with the program/app that I'm working on though it tends to be really close to finished, if not completely finished.For some projects, especially ones that I forget to view the rules first, I tend to go above and beyond the required elements, adding more than was necessary. I did that with the Jeopardy project in my portfolio, making it more like a game than was actually necessary. I'm the type to go through something and try and improve it where I can, but when I realized I used divs instead of table elements for that project I offered to go back through and rebuild it from the beginning. My mentor said that he liked what I did and to finish up, rather than spend an additional 10 hours on the same project.I learned my lesson from that. You see I was so excited to get started that I just started. I'm excitable and that is a good thing.
