I am a competent intern working toward my independent social work licensure. I completed my LMSW in 2023 and am currently in my post-graduate internship, working toward my LCSW. I am deeply caring and empathetic. My soft skills in terms of providing a safe and inviting environment help me to provide the best quality of care possible for clients. I engage in active listening skills and provide high quality therapeutic care for my clients. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups.I help clients with a variety of mental health problems. I assist client in learning more about their diagnosis and coping skills for various issues. We work through psychoeducation related to their individual diagnoses and interventions that we use throughout our sessions. I competently utilize aspects of CBT, ACT, and positive psychology as my primary modalities. I am competent in trauma work. I complete high quality intakes, treatment plans, and case notes related to each client's care. I am confident in working on an interdisciplinary team. I enjoy learning about the available resources in a given area to help clients receive the most support and care possible.
