Rising educators is an organization housed within the School of Education. Responsibilities include reaching out to teachers, principals, and other leaders in education in the Lawrence and surrounding public school district to invite them to attend our bi-weekly meeting, assisting in running the bi-weekly group meetings, and working with 3 other executive team members to plan events and fundraising opportunities for the organization. The student group was previously disbanded however, the 4 member executive team reorganized and renamed the group in 2016 to better fit the current needs of students both within and outside of the School of Education.
